Open days at the Hermitage.

The Hermitage is one of the main attractions of St. Petersburg, which is visited annually by several million people. Simultaneously with the Winter Palace, guests can visit the General Staff building, the Winter Palace of Peter I, the Menshikov Palace and the Museum of the Imperial Porcelain Factory.

The museum complex once a month traditionally holds an open door, when everyone can visit the exhibition absolutely free. Until this year, this was every first Thursday of the month, but since January it has become every third Thursday.

It is also possible to visit the Hermitage for free on May 18 - the International Museum Day, and on December 7 - the day the museum was founded.

Dates of free visit to the Hermitage in 2019:

April 18, May 16, May 18, June 20, July 18, August 15, September 19, October 17, November 21, December 7, December 19.
